This year the October long weekend hockey carnival will be back and bigger than ever, we will be releasing more details  soon, until then if you are interested in registering a team for this awesome weekend of hockey, please email: chris@emuplainshockey.com.au or hop onto Facebook and shoot us a message. 

When putting together teams please consider the following:

* All teams must supply an umpire for the weekend. 

* All teams must have a fully padded up goal keeper at all times. 

* The carnival will be played with 9 players on the field for each team at a time (including the goalkeeper). There is no restriction on the amount of substitutes a team can have. 

* Each team must have a minimum of 3 female players on the field at any given time. 

* All players must be aged 12 on the 1st of January 2018. 

* Male players are not permitted to hit the ball, they are restricted to pushing the ball. 

* No Tomahawks or Overheads are permitted from male or female players. 

* Apart from the above listed variations, all games will be played in line with the approved FIH rules. 

* Games will consist of 2 halves of 20 minutes with a 5-minute half time break. 

* Games will be played on two fields.
